Meet Michelle

Michelle Scharf has been a resident of Davis County for thirty years and currently lives in Layton. She and her late husband raised their family of two sons, two daughters, and three grandchildren in the county. She and her husband were small business owners, and she was a full-time mom. She has always used her creativity to expand her skills and talents both in and outside the home.

In 2008, Michelle felt it was time to make a difference and embarked on a political journey for Republican candidates. In addition, to campaign work, she has also been elected to serve on several boards within the Republican Party. She served as the first vice president of the Utah Federation of Republican Women, Davis County Executive Committee, Davis County State Central Committee, Constitution and Bylaws Committee for the State Republican Party, and as Public Relations Chair for the Women's State Legislative Council.

In April of 2015, she was hired as the Vice President of Government relations for Unspam Technologies. She advocated for protections for children from adult marketing companies. She managed four states and the contract lobbyists in those states and was responsible for lobbying, community outreach, and grassroots strategy. She currently serves on the Friends of the Juvenile Justice Center board as First Vice President and the board of the Utah Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association on policy. In addition, she is the co-host of the Relentlessly Resilient podcast.
